In Her Eyes: Levi X Maid!Reader Part 2

"So... Let me get this straight... (y/n) adopted the kid five years ago? and just... raised him up?" Levi asked Hanji

"Yup!" 

"You're hiding something aren't you shitty-glasses..." 

"Well... Personal things like that should be discussed with the person herself Levi, I wont tell you." She nodded before going back to her work, leaving Levi to his thoughts. 

Today embarks another annoying day for Levi. It seems that curiosity was bugging him the whole day, so he barged into Erwin's cubicle and demanded for a day off, since his Sunday was suddenly turned into a fucking workday.

Luckily, The Survey Corps. doesn't have any recent projects this month, so spontaneous vacations were allowed.

"Oi! Eyebrows, I'm going to your house today." 

"Why?" He replied, not taking his eyes off the paperwork he was progressing on.

"I want to talk to that Maid Brat of yours" Levi said, with an unconscious blush on his ears.

"She's not there. She called for a day off today. Just go visit her house, she might be still there, plus she might need a ride." 

"Why would she need a ride?" he asked rather rudely, with made Erwin put down the document to face him.

"She will attend her Son's 'Bring your parents to school day' since, well... you get the picture. Now go before I change my mind of letting you off for the day." with that, Levi rushed himself out of Erwin's office.

The blonde placed his paperwork back on his desk before checking left and right if Levi left the office, he then called for Hanji.

"So, did it work?" He asked the brunette. 

"Maybe, but I think our little cleaning fairy might take an interest with our cute maid-chan." she grinned, in which Erwin returned.

"Good, now... Finish your work for the day."

Levi unhesitatingly drove to her house, 'Great timing' She was just coming out of her old but clean little home. 

"Need a ride?" the raven haired male asked. With a grin, (y/n) nodded. 

"Uncle Levi has a big car! Mommy lets go!" Eri ran towards the back seat and secured himself with a seat belt.
 
"I'm sorry for troubling you Levi, It's Eri's first time riding a car. I usually take him to school by commuting through a bus, so Thank you for letting us join you" She said, letting Levi help her with Eri's school bag into his trunk.

"Tch, I don't really mind. Plus, I needed to talk to you about something, and that can wait. But for now... What's going on?"

As (y/n) Explained that her son Eri is supposed to bring his parents to school for the day.

Levi parked his car and was led by the little Eri towards his classroom, "Mama can I talk to uncle Levi outside?" the raven-haired kid asked.

"Okay, but be back here soon, the program is going to start..." She waved at Levi, which was sighing way too much.

When the coast was clear, Levi crouched down to his height to hear what was he going to say.

"Spit it out brat." he said rather rudely, making the other one get a bit nervous.

"Well, can you pretend to be my daddy? just for today... please!!" Eri pleaded.

"And why would I do that?"

"Because... Mama is being bullied by other parents just because Mama is a maid... they are really mean uncle Levi" He said, nearly having tears in his eyes.

With a long deep depressing sigh, Levi nodded and patted the lad's head. "Tch, but what would I get in return brat?"

"You can marry my Mama!" He giggled.

"(insert silent curses to kill the child)"

Levi groaned at his answer, but he can't shrug off the feeling he felt in his stomach, it was alien, and at the same time nostalgic. He managed to nod irritatingly to his reply and Eri, the wonderful child that he is, goes on and on about telling everybody, I mean EVERYBODY inside the room that Levi was his Father, Seeing this made (y/n) laugh heartily, which caused the stoically cool man blush towards the depths of his cheeks.

Oh look! Its the most awaited show and tell activity!!!!

Eri was quite excited to let his classmates know that his 'Father' is really cool, little did Eri-kun know that his 'Father' is much more awesome than he had imagined. Some of his classmate's parents were doctors, teachers and even policemen, but then, the time has come for Levi to 'show and tell' his profession.

Again, with another inaudible sigh, Levi walked towards the front, a wave of whispers suddenly overrides the whole room.

"Is he Eri's Father?" "Why is he so short?" "How did that maid get such man?"

"Good Morning, My Name is Levi Ackerman, the father of Eri (L/n) and the Assistant CEO of the Survey Corps Daily. I'm a Journalist and a reporter that graduated from St. Benilde University of Arts, Major in Mass Communication." 

And with that, He managed to shock everyone inside the classroom except (y/n), who happily clapped her hands in astonishment. 

"Is he married? I see no ring though!" " But he looks so much like Eri, it could be a possibility!" 

As the mothers of the kids gossip about them, Levi went back to his seat and continue to glare at the crowd beside him. Soon he felt a small hand hold his, he glanced over to where his hand was placed, and it seems Little Eri replaced his hand with (y/n)'s hand. Gently, Levi showed an invisible smile as he noticed her blushing when he tightened his grip on her hand.

'Maybe... I don't want this moment to end...'

On the drive home, Eri fell asleep on the backseat of his car, the day was long and tiring but enjoyable for the three of them.

"Looks like Eri had fun..." She said, smiling as she saw her son sleeping soundly through the rear view mirror.

"..." He kept the silence, somehow the butterflies in his stomach wont stop fluttering as he parked his car

"So, what did you want to ask me?" (y/n) asked, getting their things from the back while Levi carried Eri into her home.

With a big sigh, He ran his digits through his hair and looked her straight in the eye, "Well, how did you find Eri? aside from adopting him, I was hoping to find a clear answer on how did you find him... if you're okay with it."

(y/n) was somehow hesitant at first, but then she decided she can't keep a secret forever, "Okay, here goes... 5 years ago, I was arranged to be engaged to someone who was so prideful... I was so in love with him and when he knew about it, he umm... broke off the marriage immediately and left me on that fateful day..." She told him at the same time putting on a pot to warm for tea.

"I was going home on that very afternoon, full of tears and I looked so crappy, but then I heard some kid crying, I looked anywhere and I can't seem to find the source" She continued while pouring the hot water on two teacups and placing the tea bags to finish making the said tea. "And then, the noise came from the dumpster... even though it was a bit smelly, I dug through the garbage to see a travel bag big enough to stuff a kid into, so I picked it up and found a poor baby boy crying his lungs out..." Soon after, (y/n) felt tears running down her cheeks.

"Back then, instead of moping around trying to move on from a heartbreak, I suddenly poured my heart and mind out in taking care of this baby, I felt complete as soon as I finalized the adoption papers to officially make Eri my son." A smile lightened up the atmosphere as Levi wiped away her tears, he pulled her in for a consoling hug after whispering a soft "Thanks".

'I hope I'll be someone important in her eyes, but I don't mind taking up that Brat's offer, it has been a very long time since I liked someone, and for the first time, I think she could fill the holes I had in my heart...'
